He is survived by: his children, Michael Jason Otero (Jennifer) and Krista Otero; his siblings, Jackie Otero-Garza and Daniel Otero; his grandchildren, Maryah Marin, Shaun Anaya Jr., Matthew Silva, Sophia Silva, Alyvia Otero and Jocelyn Otero; the mother of his children Carol Maynez Medina; and his goddaughter Desiree Maynez. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
