She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Howe and Marguerite Carter Howe (Carter); her stepmother Sarah Wright Timm Howe; and her brothers, Don Howe and Marshall Howe.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Pomeroy; her daughters, Marsha Pomeroy-Huff (Clifford) of Pittsburgh, PA and Suzie Brown (Robert) of Farwell, TX; her grandchildren, Spencer Huff, Emily Brown Pearson (Paul) and Hayden Brown (Mattie); her great grandchild Reid Pearson; her niece Malinda Howe Figg; and her nephew Cory Howe (Bobbi). She is also survived by five great-nieces and great-nephews; and several cousins.
The family suggests memorial donations in her honor to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, the Rotary International PolioPlus program, the American Lung Association, or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
