She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben Chavez; and her son Ruben "Boobie" Chavez Jr.. She is survived by: her children, L. Anthony Chavez (Yolanda) and Annette Chavez; her grandchildren, Therese Saiz, Carlos Chavez (Crystal Martinez), Nicholas Chavez and Olivia Chavez; her great grandchildren, Joshua Chavez and Adam Chavez; and her siblings, Candido P. Armijo Jr. and Flora Telles. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
