She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafealita Garcia and Joe Martinez; her husband Frank Valverde; her sons, Frankie and Ronnie; her grandson Jesse; her great grandchild Takya Sanchez; and her siblings, Joseph, Barnaby and Lillian.
She is survived by: her children, Freddie (Suzette), Rodney (Monica), Dennis (Connie) and Deborah Smithson (John); and her siblings, Kathy, Irene, Teresa, Betty, Michael and David.
