He was predeceased by: his father Kevin D. Handley; his grandparents, Cecilia Acosta Mills, Zaqueo N. Acosta and Bruce "Popo" Johnson; his godfather James Acosta; and his uncle Zaqueo Acosta Jr..
He is survived by: his mother Cecilia Acosta Juarez; his stepfather Edward Juarez (Ryan Chavez) of Tijeras, NM; his grandmother Sharon Johnson of Hereford, TX; his aunts, Diana (John), Sally (Faustino), Veronica (Robert), Sonja (Tony), Lori (Raymond), Mona, Luisa (Jay) and Debbie Norvell of Hereford, TX; and his uncle Bill Acosta. He is also survived by 29 first cousins; and numerous second cousins.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Child Catholic Church. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Child Parish. A reception was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Albuquerque Garden Center (10120 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112).
