She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Maestas; her son Anthony "Antonio" Maestas; her parents, Margarito Gonzales and Josephine Gonzales; her brothers, Michael "Mike" and Eugene "Gino" Gonzales; her aunt Elsie Romero; and her sister-in-law Aurora Gonzales.
She is survived by: her children, Josephine Gonzales and Joe Maestas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
