He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis P. Gonzales and Estella G. Gonzales. He is survived by: his significant other Frances "Keka" Gonzales; his son Patrick Gonzales (Crystal Sedillo); his grandchild Jordyn Gonzales; his daughter Laurinda (Jay Zook); his granddaughter Krista (Carlos); his children, Layla Duran, Ellie Duran, Braxten Duran, Miranda Zook (Danny Evans), Kayla (Sean Nevitt) and Andrea "Andi" Zook; and his sisters, Mary (Lencho Sandoval), Marcy Medeiros and Gloria (Paul Castillo).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory - Salazar Mortuary (400 3rd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102). A rosary was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church (2005 N Plaza St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102).
