It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Michael Wightman of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wightman and Marjorie Wightman; and his siblings, John Alexander, Paul Harold Wightman and Marjorie Klementowski.
He is survived by: his siblings, David Wightman (Karen) of Getzville and Kathy Luehring of Albuquerque; and his siblings' children, Jennette Luehring of Chicago, Debra Reisenthel of Las Vegas, NV, Sandra Wightman, Bonnie Wightman of Getzvillle, Geoffrey Luehring (Crystal) of Albuquerque, Kristopher Luehring of Albuquerque and Riley Luehring of Albuquerque. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services (2919 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Chapel Memorial Park (3210 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, New York 14228).
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Kathy Luehring to assist with the funeral expenses.
