He was predeceased by: his wife Lois F. "Lara" Wilson Carbajal; his sons, Richard Jr. and Donnie; his parents, Barney Sr. Carbajal and Emily "Reina" Baca Carbajal; and his siblings, Barney Jr., Corinne and Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Francine, David and Brian; his grandchildren, BreAnna Grace, Dylan Justice and Daniel Jacob; his siblings-in-law, Della Dancer and Don Shea (Bonnie); and his friends, Benny, Mary Ellen Hodges and Rose Ellen Guillen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church (101 N 10th St, Belen, NM 87002). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
