He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Brumfield; his parents, Mary Elizabeth Holmes Brumfield and James "Jamie" Brumfield; and his siblings, Wessie Mae Jackson Anderson, Willie Mae Brumfield and Charles Edward Brumfield.
He is survived by: his sister Pauletta McNair Williams of Houston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
