He is survived by: his wife Rosalinda Mendoza Oliver; his daughters, Camela Joyce Daws (Brian), Maria Inez Brown (Michael) and Melissa Ann Nocera (Dominic); his grandchildren, Jordan Barnes, Jacob Smith, Christiana Carron, Braxton Daws, Brylee Daws, Benjamin Brown, Joshua Brown, Josiah Brown, Jerimiah Nocera and Elijah Nocera; and his sister Linda Harper.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville, Texas (1011 4th St, Floresville, TX 78114). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
He continued participating in 50-mile charity cycling rides in support of cancer research through the University of New Mexico.
