He is survived by: his significant other Marylou Ortiz; his siblings, Susan Martinez (Rodney), Kevin Cordero and Sharon Carbonneau (Eric); his nephews, Samuel Martinez, Alex Cordero, Jacob Martinez and Luc Carbonneau; and his significant other's children, Simona Valdez, Joaquin Romero and Miguel Romero.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garcia Mortuary (717 Stover Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension (2150 Raymac Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105).
