He is survived by: his son Sammy Sanchez Jr.; his wife Pearl; his daughters, Phyllis (Brian) and Natalie (John); and his siblings, Lillian Lucero (Florencio), Efren Sanchez Jr. (Shirley) and Lorraine Chavez (James). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
