Shirley L. Desemo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley L. Desemo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard F. Wurm and Lucy M. Wurm (Schartz); her siblings, Juanita Davis, Glenda Hitschmann and Joseph Wurm; her former husband Joe Desemo; her daughter Debi Desemo; and her grandsons, Ryan Desemo (Melissa) and Jonathon Turk.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Desemo (Kathy) of Alden, KS, Jennifer Turk of Jourdanton, TX and Ann Baca (Chris) of Albuquerque, NM.; her grandchildren, Sara Butler (Cade), Scott Behee, Kristy Behee, Chase Behee, Joanna Farr (Joseph), Kalin Baca, Kolten Baca and Kilah Baca; and her great grandchildren, Breeley Butler, Cayson Butler, Joseph Farr, Luke Farr, Mason Farr and Hunter Farr.
Because of her lifelong love of flowers, friends and family are invited to honor her memory by sending floral tributes, which she would have adored, or if they prefer, by making a donation to the American Heart Association in her memory.
