He is survived by: his father Sione "John" Akauola; his wife Sharon Akauola; his daughter Stephanie Wendling (Tadd); his grandchildren, Damon Kauffman (Jessi), Sadie, Buckley and Delilah; his stepmother Karen; his brothers, George, Louie and Vern (Michelle); and his nephews, Kendall and Connor Sheets.
