He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Sanchez and Cleotilde Sanchez; and his siblings, Esther Luna, Sarah Luna, Frances Lopez, Paul Sanchez, Billy Sanchez, Tony Sanchez, Rudy Sanchez and Gilbert Sanchez.
He is survived by: his wife Stella; his children, Ernestine (Tomas Chacon) and Toby (Denine Sanchez); his grandchildren, Maria Sandoval, Daniel Sandoval, Mark Lopez, Sonia Lopez, Deven Sanchez and Jeremy Rodriquez; his great grandchildren, Adam Chavez, Adrian Lopez and Aiden Lopez; and his sister Jean Sanchez (Gary Hammer). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A rosary will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory - Salazar Mortuary (400 3rd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Salazar Mortuary Event Center (400 3rd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102).
