He is survived by: his wife Ann E Brooks; his children, Vinner Brooks Jr., Jacqueline Cobbs, Tammy Brooks, Latisha Sheppard (Bernice), Danny Brooks and Andy Brooks (Saleema); his grandchildren, Jasmine Cavilo Amelia Brooks (Cody), Hannah Brooks Dayasha, Deniro Barreiro Brooks, Kamora Brooks and Sabriyah Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Cavilo, M'kayla Cavilo, Alice and Vinner Brooks Sr..
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (1509 Edith Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102).
