With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Harrell of Alto, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Cynthia Harrell; his parents, Joel Reagan Harrell and Dorothy Poe Harrell; and his brother Daryl Reagan Harrell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Harrell of Alto, NM; his children, John Harrell of Alto, NM, Kelli Miller of Dallas, TX and Jill Bauer (Chris) of Saltillo, MS; his grandchildren, Camille Bauer of Nashville, TN, Luke Bauer of Saltillo, MS, Oliver Miller of Austin, TX, Alexander Miller of Los Angeles, CA and Madeline Bauer of Saltillo, MS; his brother Joe Harrell (Gaye) of Cheyenne, WY; his sibling's children, Allen Rose (Joanna), Tara Westman (Ron), Deena Nicholson, Greg Rose (Lisa), Mark Harrell, Rob Westman (Lanie), Melanie Hart, Liz Carroll, Tom Carroll (Amalia), Benji Harrell (Jennifer), Pam Rose, Amy Hughs (Ryan), Crystal Rose and Julie Meyer (Kevin); and his cousin Ronald Poe (Carolyn). He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to Capitan Church of Christ, Gateway Church or Portales Christian Children's Home.
