He was predeceased by: his parents, Nile Ellis and Iola Ellis (Reif); his great grandchild Lyric James Golden; and his siblings, Emma Lee Medlock, Glendoris "Doris" McAfee, Richard Ellis, David Ellis, Gene Ellis and Doug Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Ellis (Dimitroff) of Amistad; his children, Tammy Kimber (Tim) of Dallas, Laurie Bagwell (Ezra) of Clayton, Brian Ellis (Michelle) of Bushland and Jim Ellis (Nicki) of Rio Rancho; his grandchildren, Megan Golden (Jeremy), Carin Gonzalez (Grayson), Colby Bagwell (Audrey), Nicole Ellis, Katelyn Ellis, Kooper Ellis and Mikyla Ellis; his great grandchildren, Harper Golden, Aaron Golden, Ellie Gonzalez, Leighton Bagwell and Cohen Gonzalez; his sister Vera Dawn Perschbacher of Elida; and his sisters-in-law, Ethel Ellis of Midlothian and Carolyn Ellis of San Jon.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Amistad Church (44 Amistad Rd, Amistad, NM 88410).
