She was predeceased by: her father Porfirio Baeza; her husband Felipe Cortez; her daughter Maria E. "Nena" Cortez; her grandchildren, Felix Cortez and Angela Cortez; and her siblings, Cayetana Vega, Alfredo Baeza, Emma Marquez and Miguel Baeza (Mickey).

She is survived by: her mother Modesta Baeza; her children, Arturo B. Cortez, Eva Cortez (Joe F. Felix), Luis Cortez, Ricardo Cortez (Lissete M.) and Jimmy Cortez; and her sisters, Mercedes Garcia (Merci), Enedina Zamora (Nina) and Antonia Aguilar (Tonia). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
