He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Romero and Rosa Romero (Castillo); his siblings, Benigno Castillo and Tina Lucero; his brother-in-law Roberto Jaramillo; his great grandchild Malikai Marquez; his great-nephew Tim Cordova; and his great-niece Vanessa Jaramillo.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bersabe Jaramillo of Santa Rosa, Pacifico Romero of Anton Chico and Adolfo Romero (Terry) of La Loma; and his daughter Priscilla Olguin of Santa Rosa. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family and friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the San Jose Catholic Church (1081 Iglesia Rd, Anton Chico, NM 87711). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Sangre de Christo Cemetery (1770 NM-386, Anton Chico, NM 87711).
