The passing of Ruby Hardin of Arch, New Mexico, born in Big Spring, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 90. For Ruby is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her sister Betty Homfield; and her husband R. B. Hardin. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Carol Hardin), Bo (Kim Hardin), Donny (Brenda Hardin) and Richard (Janice Hardin); and her sister Louise Baker of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel (500 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
