With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Buddy Simmons (Artesia, New Mexico), who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Buddy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Buddy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Simmons and Mary Simmons (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Simmons; his brother Leon Simmons; his sister-in-law Shirley Simmons; and his children, Sherry Lee Simmons, Glenda Joyce Gray, Buddy W. Simmons (Shelley) and Curtis Paul Simmons (Crystal). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
