He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Manuel R. Duran and Epifania M. Duran. He is survived by: his parents, Stella Chavez and Lazaro Chavez; his sister Crystal Bravo; his significant other Cynthia Morales; and his children, Kasey Devito and Anthony Gonzalez. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.

A rosary will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Woodbine Cemetery (201 E Hermosa Dr, Artesia, NM 88210). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
