He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Peterson and Joyce Peterson; his brother Dennis Peterson; and his mother-in-law Nancy Jorren. He is survived by: his wife Cara Peterson; his children, Joni Moorehead and Justin Peterson (Jennifer) of Artesia, NM; his siblings, Karen, Diane, Donna, Glenn Peterson (Kami Peterson), Shirley Brander, Richard, Calvin and James Peterson; his grandchildren, Patience, Riley, Trinity, Dusty Moorehead, AJ Ferguson, Christopher, Annabelle and Gene Peterson of Artesia, NM; his great grandchildren, River Moorehead, Skye and Aspen Reeves-Ferguson; and his friends, Kelly Delong, Kevin Rogers of Loco Hills, NM, Dorris, Leo Sutton of Cherokee, Ray and Ruth Chavez of Artesia, NM.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
