Fay Hamner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fay Hamner (Artesia, New Mexico), born in Childress, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Hamner-Tennant and JD Hamner; and her caregiver Priscilla Munoz. She is survived by: her siblings, Pam Runyan (Tom), Mike Tennant (Glenda) of Artesia and Sam Tennant (Betty) of Temple, TX; her nephews, Todd Mays (Laura) of Artesia, Suanne Tennant-Bonnet (Richard) of Houston, Camille Graham (Sergio) of Runyan Ranches and Rusty Tennant of Washington State; and her caregiver Luz Elva Muniz.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (322 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM 88210). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Woodbine Cemetery (201 E Hermosa Dr, Artesia, NM 88210).
In Lieu of flowers, Fay's family would like donations to be made to First Baptist Church.
