She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jay Stanley Waldrip and Wanda Louise Chisum Waldrip; her husband David Shields; her children, David Brandon Shields (Breanna), Lori Ann Haynes (Davey) and Shelley Renee Calicoat; her brothers, Jimmy Randall Waldrip and Bruce Wayne Waldrip; and her grandchildren, Johnathan Johnson, Chelsea Brewer, Jesstin Gadbury, Mattie Baeza, Saryn Shields and Callen Shields. She was also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terpening & Son Mortuary (611 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM 88210). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (322 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM 88210).
