With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Bellon of Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Umbra Lindell Applegate (Blair) and John Cathcart Applegate; her former husband Raymond Keith Fry; and her brother Allen Blair Applegate. She is survived by: her children, Penelope Ann, John Thomas and Beverly Jane; her husband Wayne Bellon; her children, Penny Taylor (Dale) of Artesia, NM, Tom Fry (Sheila) of Sacramento, N. M and Bev Blevins (Bill) of Bartlesville, Okla.; and her grandchildren, Netta Null (John Ross) of Artesia, Colby Taylor (Shelli) of Artesia, Darrah Fry of Alamogordo, N. M., Tracy Carter (Josh) of Tampa, Fla., Megan Calhoun (Andrew) of Bartlesville and Michael Blevins (Cassidy) of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

“Dear Wayne and family, My Mother was Marie Woody Robinson of Knoxville, Iowa. Your Mother and my Mother were friends for years. When my Mother had a stroke and was in the nursing home for 4 years your Mother would send her a letter every week. I will never forget that sign of love your Mother had for my Mom. About 3 or 4 years ago Margaret and Wayne came to Iowa and my sister and I got to see your Mom. So happy we got to see them both. Please know you will be in our prayers.”
