He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Doris Klontz, Anita Markman and Billie Jo Kirshner (Buddy); his siblings, Anna Kupecz, Lois Bettes and Dr. William Klontz (Patsy); his children, Vaughn Klontz (Carla) and Vana Conner (Perry); his grandchildren, Bryan Klontz (Amber), Blake Klontz (Paige), Kaci Whitmire (Matt), Cayla Nelson, Caton Conner, Kabryn Frost (Grady), Dylan Gauntt, Tyler Gauntt, Garrett Herring, Viki Williams and Aubri Baeza; and his great grandchildren, Kaydence Klontz, Kenzie Klontz, Kailee Klontz, Ashlynn Klontz, Dean Frost, Drake Frost, Layton Whitmire and Tynlee Whitmire.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terpening & Son Mortuary (611 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM 88210). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hermosa Church of Christ (2512 W Bush Ave, Artesia, NM 88210).
