He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio Ruiz (Eulalia Marquez) and Chicuahua; and his son Rafael Ruiz. He is survived by: his wife Nieves Ruiz; his children, Eulalia Ruiz (Rudy Necochea), Perfecto Ruiz (Katie Ruiz) and Juan Ramon Ruiz (Lorena Ruiz); and his pet Dimas.
