He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Peterson and Evelyn Peterson; and his spouse Kay Walker Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Mark Peterson (Nancy) and Pam Horner (Billy); his grandchildren, Kaylee Peterson Rodriguez (Jourdan), Amy Horner Brown (Cody) and Tyler Peterson; his great grandchildren, Witten and Zayven Rodriguez; his sister-in-law Anne Walker; his nephew Josh Walker (Jayne); and also Rowan Walker.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Terpening & Son Mortuary (611 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM 88210).
