He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Payne and Margie Bratcher Neal; his stepfather Woody Neal; his sisters, Debbie Payne Parrent and Frances Patrice Payne; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Payne.
He is survived by: his stepmother Patsy Gillit Payne of Tatum, NM.; his brother Jack Payne of Mission, TX.; his children, Rebecca "Bekki" (Cory Owens) of Artesia, NM., Patrick (Misty Payne) of Artesia, NM. and Karlisa (Tony Liso) of Pahrump, NV.; and his grandchild Ashton Lane of Artesia, NM.. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at 9976 Hope Hwy, Artesia, NM 88210.
