We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 77, Socorro Gonzales of Artesia, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Socorro find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catarino R. Gonzales and Juanita Perez Gonzales; and her siblings, Catarino "Chuco" Gonzales, Jr., Johnny Gonzales, Frank Gonzales and Betty Sellmer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mike Gonzales (Arcelia), Angel Gonzales (Denise), Toni Hernandez (Ben), Helen Gonzales and Sally Jorren (Mike); and her sisters-in-law, Alice Gonzales and Betty Gonzales. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Temple Assembly of God (1507 W Hermosa Dr, Artesia, NM 88210).
