Everett Otto Brandenburg Obituary

Everett Otto Brandenburg was born on 11/25/1929 and went home to be with our Lord on 4/3/2024. Everett was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to the Cedar Hill, New Mexico area in May1937. He attended school at Hutchins Grade School and High School in Aztec, New Mexico. Everett joined the Army and served in the Korean Conflict for 2 years. He moved to Ignacio, Colorado in 1959 and purchased a farm there. He met and married Donna Merrill on May 3rd of 1974. While in Ignacio, he worked. for the Ignacio School District as a Custodian for a number of years and retired from there. He was affectionately known by the students as "Eve". After his wife Donna passed away, he moved back to Cedar Hill where he lived for number of years, and then moved to Aztec, New Mexico, where he lived out his life. He was well cared for by Nora McElroy for a number of years while in Aztec.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto J. Brandenburg and wife Alma, his sister Jean Marie Cochran, and his wife Donna Brandenburg. He is survived by his sister Dorothy Shryock, with numerous nieces and nephews.
