He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glenn and Lena Faye Hayes; his sons, Duane Glen Hayes and Kerry William Hayes; and his siblings, Donnie Hayes and Roberta Ingraham.
He is survived by: his children, Jake Hayes (Tangela), Kacy Hayes (Rebecca), Jennifer Murray (Daniel), Kami Calder and Katy Paxson. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
