He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tom and Eva Tom; and his son Johnny Jay Tom. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Tom; his children, Jon-Erik Tom, Alvina Arviso, Taneesha Tom, Shaunique Tom, Monique Tom and LaCreesha Wilson; and his siblings, Leonard Tom, Lorenzo Tom, Dick Tom, Mary Tom, Julia Chischilly, Zona Church and Delphina Tom. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
