He is survived by: his wife Mary; his siblings, Tessie McCarthy, Loretta Compuzano (Fred), Janice, Janette and Gilbert (Frances); his children, Michael Organ (Dee), Russell (Ena) and TJ (Crystal); his sister-in-law Sophie Winnett; his daughter-in-law Vindred Martinez Qualls; his close friends, Sisto Lucero and Jake Trujillo; the mother of his children Josie Brinks; and his stepchildren, Christine Rivas (Louie), Tracy Salazar, Denise Jordan (Arlan), Pam Smedak, Rovanna Moore (Jesse) and Belinda Rushing. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pope John Paul II Catholic Church (353 S Pagosa Blvd, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hilltop Cemetery.
