Josie Gutierrez Gallardo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josie Gutierrez Gallardo of Bayard, New Mexico, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Gutierrez and Maria Gutierrez; her husband Robert Gallardo; her son-in-law Amador "Moyer" Reyes III; her siblings, Manuel Rivera, Rudolfo Gutierrez, Lydia Arsola (Antonio) and Carmen Rodriquez (Jesus); and her brother-in-law Armando Galindo.
She is survived by: her close friend Bertha Marin; her children, Robbie Gallardo (Melissa), Debbie Reyes and Kathy Fletcher (Steve); her grandchildren, Marisa Gallardo (Ronnie), Amador Reyes IV, Joseph Gallardo (Brianna), Madelyn Reyes, Kristina and Steven Jacob Fletcher; her sisters, Bertha Muniz (Felix) and Bertha Legarda; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Galindo, Allie Vasquez (Ruben), Delia Sepulveda (Ralph "Toy"), Stella Gutierrez and David Gallardo (Carmen). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Baca's Funeral Chapel- Silver City (3805 Delk Dr, Silver City, NM 88061). A rosary will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (340 Mayo St, Bayard, NM 88023). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Bayard National Cemetery (200 Cam De Paz, Fort Bayard, NM 88036).
