We are sad to announce that, on November 26, 2025, at the age of 97, Ruth Dalton of Bayard, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcos Solis and Maria Solis; her husband Alfonso Dalton; her children, Richard L. Dalton and Geraldine R. Dalton; her siblings, Rosalio Solis, Carolina Ramsey and Emma Gallegos; and her son-in-law Tommy Gonzales.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helen Gonzales of Meridian, ID, Irene Sanchez (Eddie) of Silver City, NM, Dolores Dalton of Las Cruces, NM and Corine Diaz of Bayard, NM; her daughter-in-law Reina Dalton of Bayard, NM; her son Alfonso Dalton Jr. (Ruthie) of Bayard, NM; and her sister Virginia Prink of Connecticut. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
