He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose M. Montoya and Ernestina Baca; and his brothers, Gilbert Montoya and Joseph Montoya. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Montoya, Anna Montoya-Najera (Pablo Najera), Yolanda Montoya (Kris Garcia) and Bernice Carrillo; his significant other Lisa Miller; his siblings, Alex Montoya, Antonio Montoya and Teresa Cordova (family: Diana Lares, Sandra Gonzalez, Jessica Trevizo); and his grandchildren, Enrique Montoya-Carrillo, Angelica Carrillo, Carlos Carrillo, Dominic Saitta, Issac Clemente, Carmello Montoya, Victor Montoya and Kindra Garcia. He is also survived by family, Diana Lares and family, Sandra Gonzalez and family.
