He is survived by: his daughters, Tiffany and Silvia Gurule; his grandchildren, Jose Cruz, Nikoles Garcia, Eric Lucero and Kandice Gurule; his great grandchild Hailey Rose; and his siblings, Lawrence Gurule and Juanita Chavez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel (609 N Main St, Belen, NM 87002). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
