He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Tabet (Hadaway); his son Chris Tabet; his granddaughter Cayla Tabet; his parents, Joe Tabet and Lily Tabet (Baca); his brother Wilfred Tabet; and his brother-in-law Nino Trujillo.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Tabet, Jay Tabet, Larry Tabet (Kelly) and Jim Sloan; his siblings, Dolores Schiess (Eugene), Gloria Trujillo, Lorena Sanchez (Gilbert), Richie Tabet (Sue), Fidel Tabet and Tommy Tabet; his grandchildren, Edward Tabet (Vanessa), Laura Sloan, Jimmy Sloan, Clinton Tabet (Kassandra), Craig Tabet (Daniela), Chelsea Tabet and Jason Sloan; and his great grandchildren, Faith Tabet, Hope Tabet, Amor Tabet, Soledad Tabet, Sebastian Tabet, Braeden Tabet, Kamila Tabet, Emma Sloan, Julius Perez and AnnMarie Sanchez. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
