We are sad to announce that, on September 10, 2019, at the age of 82, Mary Margaret Benton (Belen, New Mexico), born in Los Angeles, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sally Ortiz and Benjamin Louis Ortiz; her son Michael Louis Pacheco; and her siblings, Benjamin, Philip, Frank Ortiz and Mildred Drake.
She is survived by: her husband George Donald "Don" Benton Jr.; her children, Philip Arthur Pacheco and Mary Louise Sloan; her grandson Andrew Sloan (Leah); and her nephews, Michael Ray and Dylan Shannon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family Promise of Las Vegas.
