He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Torres and Eligia Gurule Torres; his son Jeramiah Torres; his grandparents, Pedro, Mercedes Torres, Juan and Teresa Gurule; his brother-in-law William Howell; and his nephew Carlos Maez.
He is survived by: his children, Emerson Torres (Haven), Marie Torres, Dr. Billie Adams (Matthew), Keith Torres, Andrea Sutton (Carlos) and Brittany Lucero (Christopher); his grandchildren, Anyssa, Caleb, Luke, Elliot, Hudson, Alex, Adam, Peytyn, Lawson, Asher, Isaac and Ellie; and his siblings, Mercy Howell, Theresa Padilla (Alfred) and Pete Torres (Tenci). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and a wide circle of family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church (101 N 10th St, Belen, NM 87002). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens (101 N 10th St, Belen, NM 87002).
