He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonardo Lucero and Julia Lucero; his son Leonard Lucero; his great grandchildren, Madison, Hunter Alumbaugh, Trinity Santistevan, Gabriel Sisneros, Rylee, Grace, Eli Swier, Angelina, Jacob Lucero, Skylar, Maisey Lucero, Matthew Curiel, Hezekiah, Benjamin Telles and Ella Bleu Jimenez; his great great grandchildren, Koa and Karaya Haynes; and his siblings, Reynaldo, Richard, Carlos Lucero, Bernie Garcia and Mary Duran.

He is survived by: his wife Carrie; his children, Sylvia Sisneros (Ronnie), Joseph Lucero and Sarah Hamelin; his grandchildren, Shanna Alumbaugh (Beau), Nathaniel Sisneros, Elisha Swier (Ross), Dominic Lucero, Joey Lucero (Sarah), Mia Cavaricci, Angelica Telles (David), Andres Lucero, Tamara Gros and Savannah Hamelin; and his siblings, Alonzo Lucero, Josie Leyva and Beatrice Hernandez.
