He was predeceased by: his son Gabriel Valencia; his parents, Mariano Valencia and Josie Valencia; and his siblings, Carla Valencia, Bebbetts Valencia, Archie Valencia and Mario Valencia.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Gloria Chavez (Valencia); his sons, Joseph Patrick Valencia and Jerry Valencia (Genna); his daughter-in-law Median Castillo (Gabe); his godson Manuel Baldonado; his siblings, Michael Valencia (Gloria), Joanna Matthews and Tommie Leyba; his sisters-in-law, Georgina Valencia, Tina Valencia and Pam Miera; his grandchildren, Britney (Jared), Patrick, Eric, Michael, Christian, Andrés, Kendra, Alyssa Gabriella (Alex), Gabriel Junior, Mateo, Zyriah and Zadrian; and his great grandchildren, Blaine, Annie, Arless, Arya Mei and Cassius. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (301 S Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM 87004). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
