She was predeceased by: her siblings, Pauline Cox, Mildred Katharine Garms (Millie), Nancy Meyer, John Whiting, Frank Whiting and James Whiting; her parents, John Whiting and Avaletta Whiting (Bob) of Missouri; and her niece Patricia Jean Dunnagan (Pat).
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Belinda Pratt (Steve), Nancy Marie Cain (Joe), Kathy Jane Kitchens (Terry), Fritzi Garms-Martinez (Martin), Bucky Cox (Chris), Joe Cox (Jannette), Carl Meyer (Colette), Mark Meyer and David Meyer (Tambri). She is also survived by her nieces, she was more of a big sister than an aunt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to an animal shelter or Alzheimer care or research center.
