He is survived by: his wife Virginia Alvarez; his children, Michelle Alvarez Dominguez, Melissa Ann Gonzales, Albert Alvarez, Jr. and Michael Alvarez; and his siblings, Ernesto Polanco, Marcelo Polanco, Teresa Salcido, Adolfo Alvarez, Mary Ellen Hernandez, Antonio Alvarez, Daniel Alvarez, Abel Alvarez and Betty Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
