He was predeceased by: his father Ben Buendia. He is survived by: his mother Concepcion Buendia (Castillo); and his siblings, Manuel Buendia (Maggie), Rick Buendia, Abel Buendia, Ramon Buendia (Liz), Rita Martinez (Fernie), Sally Buendia, Gloria Buendia and Anita Buendia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
