She was predeceased by: her husband David Perini. She is survived by: her children, John David (Jeana), Michael (Mckenzie) and Cindy Perini (Johnny Hinojos); her grandchildren, Michelle Charee Garza (Francisco), Brandon David Perini, Mark Michael Perini (Callie), Lucy Gray Perini, Desmond Pietro Perini and Vicki LeRosen Perini; her great grandchildren, Celine Marie Garza, John Diego Garza and Josephine Garza; her siblings, Coleta Weatherbee, Susie Dodrill and Chuck Harper; and her sister-in-law Gayla Perini DeLay (Bob). She is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (201 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory be made to the Assistance League of Carlsbad, P.O. Box 465, Carlsbad, NM 88221.
